I want to thank all of you nice folks who have been keeping track of the old lady and checking on my health and welfare. I've had it a bit rough over the winter, in the first place--and in the second place I've just had a hard time finding the energy to write on any interesting subject; at least one that "I" find interesting. ROTFL
I have been watching "Wolf Wolf", though--wondering when I'd get a response to my questions about the obvious misrepresentations presented by "Arrow". It seems that "straight as an arrow", he is not---but then are we surprised?
Anyway, since I was feeling a bit better today I popped in to see what stories he was telling now, and I'll be danged! Now he's enabling HIS enabler! Seems like there is a riot going on in the same "Chat from Hell" that I wrote about here before, only this time it's his enabler who is getting it bounced to her. ROTFL Couldn't happen to a more deserving person.
Funny how things work. A week or so ago I heard that the Mz was writing personal e-mails asking where THE OLD LADY (me) has been and stating that while she would NEVER wish anything on anyone (oh yazzer) IF I was sick, it was probably my KARMA.
So, Arrow, you see how it works? You keep asking WHY people treat her like they do? As she so aptly suggests--it's all about KARMA. The big ride--what goes around, comes around.
Now you keep trying to grab that brass ring, ya hear? ROTFL

You know, for months now I've been reading a variety of blogs and it does seem that you and Macey have managed to make a bundle of boogles with other people--who are learning not to trust your "lotsa Loves" and hearts and flowers. Homeless Men Win Settlement Over City Ordinance

-- Three homeless men who were arrested under an ordinance that made it a crime to sleep within 500-feet of human waste have won a 45-thousand-dollar settlement with the City of Las Vegas.
Last November, the three men were arrested under the measure, even though it was rescinded by the City Council. ACLU attorney Lee Rowland says the three men did not even realize the human waste was nearby when they were taken into custody.
Rowland says the now-extinct ordinance was targeted at the homeless population. The lawsuit was originally for two-million-dollars, but a quick settlement was reached where each of the three homeless men received a check for ten-thousand-dollars. Their attorney took home 15-thousand-dollars for his efforts.
And it was probably THEIR waste--which is why they couldn't smell it?
ROTFL So each of the 'homeless' men got $10,000 and the ATTORNEY got $15,000!! Now THAT is the SH*TS!!
Is life full of co-incidences, or is it just that there are so many situations that bear reference that you can't help but run into those that bear one to the other more often than is co-incidence?
For instance, last night I watched an old 1979 movie called "Justice for All", staring Al Pacino and Jack Warden. It was a frustrating movie, dealing with how unfair our 'justice' system can be---typically when it comes to those in power, and the powerless. I'd recommend you see it, if you haven't or if you've forgotten it...especially as it pertains to my subject today.
So back to the thread.....I watched the movie last night, and then this morning I found some articles of true, happening NOW experiences that curdled my yogurt. Can you even begin to wonder WHY there are so many incidences of murder, molestation, and mayhem going on--many by known perpetrators that are allowed, by our system, to continue their rampage on our streets? I stand in awe and disgust at what is going on. (Emphasis and underlines inserted by me.)
Man sentenced to jail time for indecent assault on girl

A 48-year-old Ohio man who molested a 14-year-old girl while staying in a Sharpsville home was given 165 days to 23 months in Mercer County Jail for indecent assault.
Patrick William McEvoy, Lisbon, Ohio, was also given credit for 165 days in jail already served, and is no longer incarcerated at Mercer County Jail, said a prison spokesperson.
“I want to apologize for my actions, they have affected a lot of different people,” he told Judge Christopher J. St. John Monday. “I take full responsibility for this.”
St. John, who reviewed statements from the victim and her mother, said the girl experiences nightmares from the incident, “which you would expect from a person of her young age.”
McEvoy admitted to kissing and touching the girl while briefly staying with her mother, who had also invited him to stay on weekends prior to the incident, he said.
“There was a lot of alcohol consumption going on,” he said. The incidents happened while the mother was upstairs.
“It was a horrible thing,” McEvoy said. He said he attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings now and intends to seek counseling, though he has no insurance for the counseling yet.
St. John expressed some doubts, and said, “I think there is more to this than you are admitting. The age difference is huge.”
So "St. John" thinks it's a very big deal, but he lets this obviously lying scumbag OUT?!!! And if THAT'S not enough.......
Judge tells teen it’s time to follow rules, be a man

A 19-year-old Hermitage man who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl and to drug and drunken driving charges was sentenced Monday to 92 days to a year in prison and six years’ probation.
Robert Stewart Benger, formerly of Hermitage, pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to charges of possession of controlled substances, statutory sexual assault, drunken driving, and driving during suspension.
Benger said he is working on a fresh start in North Carolina, and was accompanied by his father to court on Monday.
“You have to get a mindset right now that you’re going to follow the rules and regulations,” Mercer County Judge Christopher St. John said. “All the excuses you’ve had in your life are understandable. But now it’s time to turn things around and take responsibility and become a man.”
Benger was 18 when he had sex with the girl, who was a runaway at the time. Benger told police she said she was 16.
Police said a policeman had seen Benger with the girl and warned him she was 13, but Benger said in court Monday that this occurred after he had sex with her.
“We talked, but it wasn’t anything with school, grades, or anything,” he told St. John, after being asked how he could not have known her age.
Benger first fell into trouble when he was found with 11 Clonazepam, an anti-seizure medication, and a Xanax, an anti-anxiety drug, police said.
Three days later, police said he approached the policeman who had arrested him to tell the officer about a fight he had been in, and after being asked if he had illegal drugs with him, revealed five Clonazepam and 5 Flexeril pills, a muscle relaxant.
It was the next day when police were told about Benger and the runaway girl, police said.
At his sentencing hearing, Benger told St. John he had “given up” during the period he committed the crimes and after dropping out of high school.
Judge St. John indicated from letters written by members of Benger’s family — mostly on his father’s side — that there was a difficult situation at home after his parents divorced.
Benger said his mother, who raised him after his parents divorced, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and resides in a group home.
Oh my! Same judge, same sob story from the perp---NO ONE to speak for the victim. So much for 'JUSTICE FOR ALL'!
Apparently bullies are born AND made! We've covered the instances of bullying and injuring elderly, spouses, children and teenagers here--in some depth, and I've heard and seen many folks following those articles in the past months. However, this newspaper article struck me as particularly in depth about the inhumanity of man to man. How do you STOP this type of action and what do you think will be the insipid justice that will be afforded to this cruel family of cowardly abusers?

Police say family abused woman, treated her like ‘slave’

GREENSBURG, Pa. — A couple and their three teenage children held a woman captive for six months, beating her with broom handles, boards and a metal pipe and forcing her to do chores as they referred to her as their “slave,” police said Wednesday.
All five members of the family were arrested on kidnapping, terroristic threat and related charges. They have not yet entered pleas, but denied wrongdoing.
The accuser, Emily Nicely, 19, went to live with the family voluntarily last summer but said that she was forced to stay with them since September.
A man whose newspaper was delivered by the family called police March 10 after he noticed bruises on her. Police brought her to a hospital, where investigators discovered that she had bruises over her entire body and that she had suffered a concussion.
Greensburg Capt. George Seranko said police believed Nicely’s account because the injuries they saw corroborated her story.
“She had injuries on every part of her body,” Seranko said.
Nicely said her family had moved out of Greensburg, about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, and that she moved in with the Pollard family so she could finish high school in the same district.
Mark Pollard, 43; his wife, Cynthia, 41; and their oldest son, Mark Jr., 18, remained in jail Wednesday, the day after their arrest. The couple’s youngest children, Jonathan, 17, and Tabitha, 16, were charged as adults. They were free on bond and allowed to stay with other family members.
Cynthia Pollard acknowledged that Nicely was forced to stand in a corner, but told investigators that Nicely is covered with bruises because she falls while delivering newspapers.
Shortly after Nicely began staying with the Pollards, they became physically abusive, forced her to do work, and never let her leave the home unless she was accompanied by at least one of them, Nicely told police.
“The Pollard family referred to her as their ‘slave,’ ” police said in an affidavit.
Mark Pollard is black. Cynthia Pollard and Nicely are white.
